Sponsorship
Have you been touched by cancer? Do you want to make a difference?
Then help us get the Kombi of Hope on the road and out into the community spreading the word about cancer smart lifestyles and raising awareness of Relay For Life as an event that raises money for cancer research and cancer support services.
ANY SUPPORT, HOWEVER BIG OR SMALL, WILL BRING US ONE STEP CLOSER TO A CURE.
The cancer statistics tell us that:
-
An estimated 106,000 new cases of cancer are diagnosed in Australia each year.
-
1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women will be diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.
-
Cancer is a leading cause of death in Australia – more than 39,000 people are estimated to die from cancer each year.
- More than 60% of cancer patients will survive more than five years after diagnosis.
- The survival rate for many common cancers has increased by more than 30 per cent in the past two decades.
1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women … with statistics like those it’s more than likely that you yourself have been touched by cancer or know someone who has.
Like us, you are probably feeling a mixture of emotions – sadness, grief, anger, helplessness.
We believe sponsoring the Kombi of Hope will give you an outlet for those feelings. It will give you HOPE.
For more information on how you can be involved, please contact us.
